While "Madden NFL 16" brings new changes to the long-running title, players are reportedly experiencing a couple of bugs that disrupt the game.

To alleviate players' woes, EA Sport is already working on a new patch to get rid of some of the issues, though the update still does not have a release date. Rex Dickson, creative director of "Madden NFL 16," gave a hint of the timeframe for the update. As per his announcement via Twitter, Dickson stated that fans will not have to wait for six weeks, GameSpot reported. This may be in reference to how previous Madden titles received the patch after quite some time.

Some of the issues that will be dealt with include the biggest bug in the Connected Franchise. Players have reported encountering regression and boosting of ratings in Franchise games. There are also some issues with the encroachment in the huddle, balancing for the Aggressive catch and even custom playbooks that may sometimes disappear.

There is even a rather funny bug wherein players may tackle the air even with no ball or other players nearby.

Apart from the air-tackling move, there is another funny bug dubbed as the invisible man glitch, the ball is floating and players are chasing after what should be an opponent, USA Today reported.

Still, "Madden NFL 16" is not just about the bugs and issues. Several players and critics have hailed EA's title as one of the better "Madden" titles so far, especially after its shift into the PS4 and Xbox One. The introduction of Playmaker status, new passes among and between players and the noteworthy challenges in Connected Franchise are among the features that fans have adored and enjoyed so far. Hopefully, EA will roll out the patch for fewer glitches and bugs in the game.
