"Orange is the New Black" season 4 star Taylor Schilling recently talked about her character Piper Chapman on the hit Netflix series.
In an interview with Bustle, Schilling also revealed what she wants Piper to achieve and become in the upcoming installment.
"I am hoping she starts to ask why she is doing what she is doing," she said.
Meanwhile, the actress also talked about Piper's fate in the upcoming fourth season of "Orange is the New Black."
According to the actress, Piper is a flawed woman who is negatively influenced by the fact that she has been an inmate for the past couple of years. This has therefore led Piper to become out of the control and lost.
Schilling also explained Piper's actions and said that most of the time, her deeds are influenced by the fact that she does not know herself that well.
"I think it is when you lose a sense of self and you have nothing to hold onto... like this rocking boat, and you start grasping its straws and hurting yourself and hurting other people in really self-destructive ways," she said.
In other news, "Orange is the New Black" star Laura Prepon also talked about Alex and Piper's relationship in season 4.
During an interview with TV Guide, she said that Piper and Alex will always have a special connection with each other, regardless if they end up together or not.
"Orange is the New Black" season 4 will premiere on Netflix sometime next year.
