"Mighty No. 9" will not be available until 2016. A playable demo though will be launched for its Kickstarter contributors on Sept. 15. The upcoming "Mighty No. 9" side-scroller action video game that is being produced by Comcept may not be released on its original launch date.
The game has been delayed by months already due to unresolved bugs and issues with the online feature. However, PC games who have contributed to the game development through its Kickstarter campaign will have an exclusive four-stage playable demo on Sept. 15, IGN reported.
Comcept's big man, Mr. Keiji Inafune announced Friday via "A Mighty Chat With Keiji Inafune" panel to announce the latest happenings within the game development. It came in as a surprise to the contributors when Inafune announced the playable demo which is a bit earlier than expected.
The demo release is to assure the fans who are getting worried that they will not be able to see the game's release, Engadget reported.
Inafune also informed the panel that Comcept will be distributing Mighty Gunvolt keys to "Mighty No. 9" backers. "Mighty No. 9" demo for the latest creation of Mr. Inafune will only be available for the PC. PS4 and Xbox One needs to wait for a few more months to get their hands on the playable demo.
"Mighty No. 9" campaign was successful. The initial goal was set at $900,000 and was reached 2 days after it was launched back in September 2013. The campaign ran for 30 days and was able to reach $4 million dollars, fully reaching its maximum goal. It was also the sixth most funded projects back then.
"Mighty No. 9" will be available on platforms like PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux.
