"Zoolander 2" star Owen Wilson recently said he was star-struck by his "No Escape" co-actor Pierce Brosnan, who is best known for his four James Bond films "GoldenEye," "Tomorrow Never Dies," "The World Is Not Enough" and "Die Another Day."

In a recent interview with Today FM, Wilson said when Brosnan came on set in Chiang Mai in Thailand for the filming of "No Escape," it was exciting because he cannot help but think, "'James Bond is walking around."

"Even in New York, I was walking down the street with Pierce and we went to get something to eat and seeing the reaction that people have is incredible," Wilson said adding that when an actor plays James Bond, he occupies "a space in people's consciousness and it's funny to see how people react."

Released on Aug. 26, "No Escape" was written by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle and was directed by the earlier. Joining Wilson and Brosnan in the cast are Lake Bell, Byron Gibson, Stacy Chbosky. Bathelemy Son, Jon Goldney, Spencer Garrett, Bonnie Jo Hutchinson, Jay John Strifler, Matt Olnyk and Stefan King, among others.

Aside from "No Escape," Wilson is also set to star in Lawrence Sher's "Bastards," Jared Hess's "Masterminds" and Ben Stiller's "Zoolander 2."

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Wilson said it was a relief to get back to reprise his role as Hansel in "Zoolander 2" beginning with the way they announced the sequel by having him and Stiller walk out in Paris in character.

Written by "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston's husband Justin Theroux, "Zoolander 2" also stars Kristen Wiig, Olivia Munn, Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Christine Taylor, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen and Antonio Te Maioha, among others.
