‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Will Rick Grimes And Michonne Fall In Love?

In the post-apocalyptic world, it is difficult to encounter love. However, the characters still manage to explore romance amidst fighting evil forces and walkers. Will "The Walking Dead" Season 6 open the gates of love for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira)?

Rick Grimes lost his wife Lori after she gave birth to baby Judith. He has been alone all this time. But, he has been good friends with Michonne and many fans come up with this theory called 'Richonne'.

Executive producer Scott M. Gimple, Lincoln and Gurira talked to the Hollywood Reporter about this.

"They're both warriors, but she's one of the few people who can take the piss out of Rick, which is great," Lincoln said. He added that if all the people are dead, he would certainly go out with her.

"There aren't that many people in the apocalypse, but when everybody is dead and it's just me and her left, let's get it on!"

Meanwhile, Gurira said that her character is a fan of Rick. "He's the one who really challenges her to step out of who she was and who she was becoming. After that fight with the Governor (David Morrissey), she was becoming something quite ugly. ... She had to go through that because of Rick, so that caused her to have a respect for him, and eventually he gained a trust and respect for her."

The actress said that there is "intimacy of friendship" between Rick and Michonne.

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 premieres this October on AMC.
