Good news comic book fans, new details and rumors for "Arrow" season 4 have been revealed regarding a returning villain in the show and the addition of another DC superhero.

"The Hobbit" star Manu Bennett teased fans about the possibility of having season 2 main villain, Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke back in "Arrow" season 4. It all started when Bennett posted a photo of Slade on his Facebook page with the caption "Next" as several comments suggest a return episode for the villain.

"Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that a Deathstroke return episode could happen anytime within the show, and it is up to Bennett whether he wants to do it or not in the series, Movie Pilot reported

Audiences last saw Deathstroke in the season 3 episode "The Return," hunting down both Oliver (Amell) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland) in the island of Lian Yu were he was imprisoned in a A.R.G.U.S. prison cell at the end of season 2.

"Arrow" season 4 will focus on Oliver's return to Star City (formerly Starling City) as he faces a new enemy, Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough) and unlike his past enemies, he is described as a "sociopath" and "pure evil". Damien Darhk will likely lead the criminal organization H.I.V.E. in the shoe, which will be fitting for Deathstroke's return since his comicbook counterpart was part of the group.

In other news, another DC character will likely make an appearance as Guggenheim teased that Oliver will be travelling into Coast City. Coast City is the home of Justice League member Hal Jordan a.k.a. Green Lantern and it was speculated that most of the flashbacks in season 4 will take place there, Ecumenical News reported.

Several Green Lantern referrences have already been mentioned within the "Arrow" and "The Flash" TV series such as Ferris Airlines and reports of a "missing pilot" the happened years ago. It is yet to be confirmed if comic book fans will meet Hal Jordan in the Arrow/Flash TV universe anytime soon.

Amell previously stated that other major DC characters such as Batman appearing in the series will be "tough" and its up to the higher bosses of DC to make that decision. Matt Ryan's character John Contantine has officially joined the show from NBC and there might be other characters coming to the show very soon.

"Arrow" season 4 will premier on Oct. 7 on the CW Network.
