When things are getting more interesting on Naruto Shippuden, filler episodes never fail to kill the vibe. After three consecutive action-packed weeks featuring Naruto, Sasuke and Madara, Episode 427 and 428 will return to filler-land, and this time, the focus will be on Tenten and her dreams inside the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
So what to expect in yet another 'ill-attempt' by the animators to extend the anime series? Here's a short preview of what to expect in Thursday's twin episodes entitled Road To Tenten: Into the Dream World.
Tenten Dreaming of Neji Still Alive and Mature Might Guy and Rock Lee:
If you already finished reading the manga, then you know that Tenten dreamt of Neji still alive, and Might Guy and Rock Lee turning into mature men inside the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
It remains unclear what was the real score between her and Neji. In fact, we only knew little about Tenten other than her short temper and ability to summon all kinds of stuffs. Perhaps, this particular episode, though it's non-cannon, will reveal Tenten's well-kept secrets, including her real feeling towards Neji and her rumored future husband, Rock Lee.
Road to Ninja Characters Make Their Return:
Sleek-talking playboy Sasuke, voluptuous Hinata, cat-loving Kiba and conservative Ino. These are just some of the alternate personalities that made Naruto: Road to Ninja one of the most hilarious Naruto movies of all time. These characters will all make their return on Road to Tenten: Into the Dream World, so expect a School Rumble-liked theme in these special episodes.
Reverse Harem Time:
Based on what we saw on the sneak peak, Road to Tenten will delve deeper into the main character's feminine side. Over the years, Tenten has been projected as a tough, butt-kicking Kunoichi to the point of getting the label as a Tomboy character. However, the video teaser for these Episodes apparently showed Tenten sharing the same desire as Sakura and Ino: to be popular among the boys.
