While many gamers commented that "Dark Souls 3" borrows some gameplay and aesthetic elements from "Bloodborne," Miyazaki assured fans that the game will be unique in its own way. The slight similarity between "Bloodborne" and "Dark Souls" is inevitable since Miyazaki is the core designer of the two games.

The "Dark Souls" series is known throughout the gaming community for its notoriously difficult gameplay. Miyazaki promised that the same challenging and rewarding gameplay stays as the core charm of the game's third installment.
