It seems like the much awaited “NCIS-NCIS: LA” crossover in which the “NCIS” Agent Tony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) will be helping the “NCIS: LA” team, will more likely be quite comedic.

“There’s a hilarious conceit for my presence which is that this guy who is a witness to some scurrilous wrongdoing is being brought back from Singapore,” Weatherly told Entertainment Weekly. “He disappears and we have to find him in L.A. He keeps disappearing.”

Fans will get to see “a classic DiNozzo moment” in the crossover episode, according to “NCIS: LA” executive producer Shane Brennan.

As for the upcoming “NCIS: LA” season 7, viewers can expect more of not just Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi’s (Daniela Ruah) relationship, but also Nell (Renee Felice Smith) and Eric (Barrett Foa). Brennan teased that Eric will get weapons training from Sam (LL Cool J), which the fans can realize is fraught with danger.

In other news for the highly anticipated “NCIS” season 13, there is a possible chance for the fan favorite character, Ziva (Cote de Pablo) to return to the show later this year, as Tony teases some special guests appearance is in the cards.

“I have come to understand that there will be, later in the year, some guest stars that will melt the avid NCIS viewer’s brain,” Weatherly told TV Line.

“We’ve got some really fine guest spots that aren’t locked in yet,” Weatherly said, adding that only show runner Gary Glasberg can confirm if Ziva will be back or not.

However, earlier this year, the Ziva, herself hinted at her possible return to the “NCIS” show, stating that her exit from the series was a kind of rushed and that the fact that her character is not killed, suggests that under right circumstances, it could be explored again.
