iPhone 6S case leaked

The iPhone case may have some issues regarding strength of the metal cover after the bendgate scandal hit Apple. However, it could also stop a bullet.

Fox reports that the smartphone bounced off the bullet and saved the student's leg, which meant the victim had the iPhone inside his pants pocket. The incident happened near the Fresno State campus. Police said an armed man followed a male student home.

"He had a ski mask on. He approached the victim as he was walking from the rear. He grabbed his computer - tried to pull it away from the victim. Victim held onto it - wouldn't let him take it, and the next thing you know the suspect had a gun," KSEE24 News quoted an officer.

Lt. Joe Gomez, the Fresno police officer who responded to the 911 call at Campus Edge Apartments on Bulldog Lane at 11 p.m. on Monday, said the robber pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim.

While the victim was spared his life, the incident did not spare the poor student from trauma. He left town after the incident and vowed never to return. He also needs to buy a new iPhone because the bullet shattered his unit, reports 247wallst.com.

Report of the ability of the iPhone to break a bullet is timely as the Cupertino-based giant rolls out on Sept. 9 the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S, amid investor concern over the lack of technology advances to convince iPhone owners to ditch their iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S devices for the newer ones.
