The grand parade to commemorate China's victory against Japanese aggression during World War II occurred on Sept. 3 at Beijing's Tiananmen Square. The event, graced by international leaders, war veterans and the general Chinese public, is meant to remind the world that China will continue to sustain peace with its established military power.
