Square Enix has revealed several new updates latest action-RPG crossover, "Kingdom Hearts 3" regarding its possible launch date announcement at D23 Expo Japan and its current status.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed several new details about the game's current status and the following new features within the Kingdom Hearts series.
Nomura told Game Radar that the "ground foundations" for "Kingdom Hearts 3" have been established and the developmental team is currently working on the mass production of the different elements being added within the game such as mini-games, Disney worlds, summons etc.
Judging by Nomura's answers, it seems that Square Enix still has a lot of work to do in "Kingdom Hearts 3" since they are also working on "Final Fantasy XV" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Nomura also cited the many difficulties of creating and developing games for the current generation consoles. He points out that quality used in the new consoles is very high end compared to the previous handheld games. It takes a lot of time, resources and huge amounts of patience to develop a game such as "Kingdom Hearts 3".
Despite the hardships, Square Enix has been impressive in giving fans new updates and details, when they first released the full trailer of "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2015 several months back. Not to mention, they have included three Disney worlds such as "Tangled", "Hercules" and "Big Hero 6" within the game.
Square Enix will feature "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the D23 Expo in Japan on Nov. 6-7 as they they will showcase a new gameplay video and possibly an official launch date.
There is also a version of game for the iOs and Android software called "Kingdom Hearts 3: Unchained Chi". It is currently available in Japan and will likely launch in the United States very soon, Venture Capital Post reported.
It has been hinted that Square Enix has already decided the launch date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" during a closed door meeting and other rumored worlds such as "Frozen", Wreck-It Ralph", "Brave", "Marvel" and "Star Wars" are being considered in the game.
There are also several rumored Final Fantasy characters joining the game such as Noctis, Balthier, Fran, Zidane, Snow Villiers, Vincentt Valenyine and Warrior of Light just to name a few.
Gaming fans will have a chance to win tickest for D23 Expo in Japan by participating in raffle lottery contest worth 1,500 yen ($12 USD). The lottery will start on Sept.15-24 and the winners will be announced on Sept. 29.
