"Mad Max: Fury Road" actor Tom Hardy has expressed his enthusiasm in doing more DC Comics films.

In his interview with MTV International, Hardy said that he was interested in coming back to DC's Cinematic Universe. When someone asked him who he would like to win out in a fight between Batman and Superman, he replied that he would rather hold both the superheroes under the water until the bubbles stop.

While Hardy played Bane in Christopher Nolan's film "The Dark Knight Rises" in 2012, along with Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, the actor will not be seen yet in DC's Cinematic Universe. DC has a plan for its film line-up and Hardy's has to be well-planned.

If not in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the "Mad Max: Fury Road" actor could appear in Snyder's duology "Justice League" or in Ben Affleck's untitled "Batman" film reboot.

Aside from his role in Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" and George Miller's action adventure "Mad Max: Fury Road," Hardy is also known for his roles in Gavin O'Connor's sports drama "Warrior" and Nolan's action mystery film "Inception." The actor is set to appear in Brian Helgeland's crime thriller "Legend," Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's "The Revenant," and George Miller's "Mad Max" film sequel, "Mad max: The Wasteland."

Meanwhile, fans will be feasting on two upcoming DC films next year. Batman will be clashing with Superman in Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which paves the way to the rise of the titular superhero team in "Justice League." Fans will also be introduced to DC Comic's supervillain film "Suicide Squad," which is directed by David Ayer.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters on Mar. 25, 2016 while Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016. Watch Hardy's interview here:
