The newest multiplayer mode, Safeguard mode, is set to debut on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3". Developer Treyarch revealed that this is a rather strategic but downright chaotic mode that pits players in terms of wit, coordination and collaboration.

In an exclusive video interview in Aim Down Sights care of GameSpot, Treyarch talks about a couple of new developments of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," starting with the new Safeguard mode.

Safeguard mode involves teams tasked to deliver a non-combative robot into enemy territory. The teams will take turns in escorting the robot, while the strategy follows an attack and defend approach. To successfully accomplish the task, teams will need to have good coordination with each other.

The teams on the offensive will need to ensure that the robot is beside at least one player at any given time so that it will move. Apart from attacking enemy base by infiltrating it with the robot, they also have to defend the robot, because the enemy can chip away at the robot and disable it so they can stop the defense from infiltration.

To win, the team must overcome two rounds. But if both teams win at least one round, overtime happens, wherein the opposing team will need to beat the time n get the robot into enemy base. According to the developers, it is both becoming a fan favorite while the close-quarter combat and exciting action can make it a competitive play favorite as well.

In less official news, it appears that GameStop had unwittingly leaked the zombies menu for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" during its Managers Conference, Charlie Intel reported. An image that has been circulating online shows the zombies menu in the background.

According to reports, those at GameStop were among the first people to see and sample the zombie mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Granted, the leaked image of the menu is far from clear. All that can be seen are five columns with a different color going from the left to the right. Some fans have even started speculating on whether or not this means that the zombies mode will allow players to choose their characters. Activision and Treyarch have yet to announce any details on this.

Previously, the developer has also revealed that, following the beta for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, the game will experience tweaks. The UI and AI, in particular, will be seeing some improvements. This is so that the next-gen platforms can be pushed beyond their limits to deliver to the best of graphic capabilities.
