Latest Leaked Image Suggests: Best To Skip LG Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X) Release Date (Photo : Image Source: Android Pit)

Another leaked image of the LG Nexus 5 2015 or Nexus 5X is pointing to a looming release date that likely will happen in the last week of September but the latest revelation seems to indicate of underwhelming specs and features, including the design.

Per Android Pit, the new Nexus 5X pic is in line with the images that surfaced earlier. The back plate is painted white and all the configurations already suggested in recent weeks remain in place. The two circular holes at the back will be the rear camera sensor that occupies the upper opening and right below it is the uniquely -located fingerprint reader.

Sitting on the right side of the Nexus 5X main shooter is the 12.7-megapixle camera with a dual-LED flash and a laser auto-focus module. Android Pit is concluding that with the camera system known so far, the 2015 LG Nexus 5 will surely underperform when pitted with the likes of LG G4, the Moto X 2015 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The latter is now regarded as the best camera smartphone around and the Nexus 5X still has to contend with the LG G4 Note that likely with boast of DSLR-class shooting prowess with its expected more advanced dual-lens camera hardware.

Then there will be the upcoming iPhone 6S and 6S Plus that many reports say will both sport a main camera bumped up to 12MP with the default improvements both in the camera software and hardware.

So in a shooting war alone, it looks easy for smartphone shoppers to look beyond the LG Nexus 5 2015.

As for the key specs, the narrative remains that the Nexus 5X will deliver the following package:

-          A 5.2-inch 1080p display

-          A hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip, paired with 3GB of RAM

-          Internal memory configuration of 16GB and 32GB

-          And 2700mAh battery

Now the details above are not exactly jaw-dropping. Checking out the Moto X 2015 and Galaxy Note 5 specs, one would decide against buying the new LG Nexus 5.

And in the aesthetic front, the newly-leaked photo, pointing to a panda black finish (black on front and white on rear) per Android Police, just affirmed the earlier visualization of the Google Nexus 2015 that is quite far from being a stunning kit like the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge are. Wait until the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus get out and Google's hero phone should be easier to forget about.

The only thing going for the Google Nexus 2015 is it will rock the vanilla Android 6.0 Marshmallow on release date plus the hint that the asking price over at the Play Store will be no more than $350 a pop.
