Conventional wisdom suggests that taking the road less travelled leads to liberty from the conformity of others.
This belief, to a certain extent, makes a valid argument in terms of paving the way to a greater purpose in life - a principle that new NXT Diva, Kana, hopes to abide by.
"I have been in the business for more than 10 years and have accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish," she said. "When the opportunity with WWE came up, I saw it as a chance to showcase my talents to the world on the biggest sports-entertainment stage there is."
Kana also promises to live up to fans' expectations by pouring her heart out in the ring.
"In this business, you always dream of making it in WWE, and I am going to give everything I have to the WWE Universe and make sure I take full advantage of the opportunity in front of me."
Japan's hottest female prospect landed on WWE soil to begin her journey in NXT's illustrious Divas division and burst through the scene instantly.
"I feel like the experience I have gained over the years, along with the techniques and skills I have accumulated, will allow me to contribute to the Divas division right away."
The Japanese superstar was in attendance during WWE's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn where she was blown away by the talents and impact of her counterparts.
"It has been amazing watching the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte take the Divas division by storm," Kana explained. "I can't wait to get in the ring with them and add my own chapter to the Divas Revolution."
With her vast experience, unique talent, and furious hunger, this less travelled road may seem like another step toward fulfilling the pre-destined legacy of Kana.
