Unicode Consortium released on Wednesday a new set of emojis, including the middle finger and several food icons. It came with the roll out of iOS 9.1, released for Apple developers in beta mode.

Included in the food emojis are taco, hot dog, cheese wedge, burrito, champagne bottle and popcorn. The taco emoji has been in response to a clamor from several taco advocates the past few months, including fast food chain Taco Bell that initiated on Change.org in January an online petition which collected over 33,000 signatures, reports USA Today.

Netizens were happy with the unicorn emoji. Heidi Moore wrote that she would use the unicorn emoji for her text to friends who refer to amazing men as "manicorns." Vince said he is happy with the inclusion of the middle finger, often a visual substitute for the cuss word "f**k you."

Besides the new emojis, the iOS 9.1, the next major upgrade to the Apple operating system, includes an improved Siri, smarter search, better transit maps, a refresh of core maps such as Notes and new apps like News, reports Techcrunch. The update is said to help display optimized versions of features such as the split screen and video playback of picture-in-picture on tablets with large screens.

It would be available, beginning Sept. 19, as free download to all users. But if its official launch is timed with the iPad Pro, iOS 9.1 would likely then arrive in Apple stores in November.
