New "Captain America : Civil War" movie details and spoilers have been revealed regarding Baron Zemo's truel role in sequel and a rumored appearance by Thanos.
The latest film from Marvel Studios will focus on Avenger members, Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) facing each other in a fight for superhero freedom as Cap's team defies the U.S. government's ideal of enacting "The Accords", while Tony Stark and his allies are charged of capturing him and force the first Avenger to follow their global plans.
Since "Captain America: Civil War" will be heavily focus on two Avenger teams fighting each other on opposite sides, several Marvel and comic book fans are wondering what part will Cap's arch-nemesis, Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) will play in the films conflict.
Luckily, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actress Elizabeth Olsen has revealed several details regarding Bruhl's version of Baron Zemo and Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch's development as a hero in the film during a recent interview with Premier.fr.
According to Olsen, "Captain America: Civil War" will have a more "dark" tone than the previews Marvel films as the third installment will deal with people as opposed to robots. She revealed that Scarlet Witch in "Cap' 3" will be more powerful than ever before to the point that she goes insane, and will likely be a "wild card" during the films plot.
Scarlet Witch's allegience in "Captain America: Civil War" has been the subject of rumors and speculations. Wanda was supposed to be part of Cap's team in the film, but she was not present during the teams line-up that consist of Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp). Fans speculated that she will join Iron Man's side becuase of Vision (Paul Bettany), but since Olsen labeled her as a wild card in the film, Wanda will not likely play well in both Avenger teams.
Olsen added that Bruhl's performance as Baron Zemo will be something to look forward to as she commented on how incredible he was during the film's shoot. Several reports speculated that Baron Zemo will have a huge impact in Winter Soldier's life as the villain was the one who captured and turned Bucky into who he is today.
In other news, Thanos (Josh Brolin) will be making his presents in several Marvel films in phase 3 of the MCU.
Brolin told MTV that he liked to play comic book characters and thanked Marvel Studios for giving him the opportunity to play the Mad Titan in their films. Thanos will now play a huge role in upcoming films as he will be the main antagonist in the two-part Avengers movie, "Avengers: Infinity War".
Brolin admitted that he was not sure if Thanos will cameo in "Civil War", but knows how Marvel will handle the villain and assured fans that he will definitely show up in the phase 3 films.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be release in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
