Is Jon Snow alive? The question seems to be tormenting the souls of the fans of hit HBO series, "Game Of Thrones," since their favorite character, Jon Snow, was stabbed by his own men and left to die at The Wall during Season 5 finale episode.

Although the show runners have emphasized that Snow is "deader than dead," the latest pic from the sets of the show suggest otherwise.

The recent reports stated that Kit Harington, the actor who plays Snow, has been spotted in Saintfield, Northern Ireland, where the filming of a massive battle for the upcoming season is now well underway, Watchers On The Wall reported. The battle is likely to involve Umbers, the Boltons, wildlings and is will be aired in season 6 episode 9.

The spotting of Harrington in the area has led to the rumor that Snow will actually rise from his injuries and once again will take up his role as Lord Commander to showcase his old tricks at the centre of a battle taking place in the bitter frosty North.

Harrington was spotted in the area along with his co-star Iwan Rheon, who plays the villain Ramsay Snow on the show, leading to another speculation that a much-awaited showdown between the two will finally happen in the season 6.

Since it was reported earlier that "Game Of Thrones" season 6 will be more about flashback and visions, it is also a possibility that Snow is actually dead and is only filming for the flash back scenes, though, such a battle has not happened in the plot yet.

Earlier too, Harrington was spotted hanging around in Belfast, a major shooting location for the hit HBO series. While some fans are predicting that Snow is not dead and will return in season 6, others believe that he will resurrect in new character like that of Azor Ahai, a reborn figure known as The Prince That Was Promised, Cinema Blend reported.

"Game Of Thrones" season 6 is likely to premier in March 2016 on HBO.
