"Call of Duty" fans will have more than the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" video game to look forward to. A six-issue miniseries comic will be released as a prequel to the title to prep fans for Treyarch's latest masterpiece.

In collaboration with Dark Horse, the comic will see soldiers in action as they look for a double agent in the hopes of uncovering a conspiracy, Polygon reported. The source features the cover and some pages of the second issue. The cover shows off what appears to be a female soldier.

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be from artist Marcelo Ferreira and writer Larry Hama. Coloring will be done by Dan Jackson. The miniseries prequel comic will be available on Dec. 2.

Fans who will be attending the EGX 2015 can expect a playable demo of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" on-site. The event handlers have already announce via the EGX official website that this will be one of the main games that will be on the PlayStation stand.

Apart from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," the PlayStation stand will feature 28 games that can be sampled by attendees. These include the console-exclusive "Street Fighter V," "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," ""Destiny: The Taken King," "FIFA 16," Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," "Star Wars Battlefront" and "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection."

Additionally, the Project Morpheus and playable PSOne titles will be available for play. This will be the first time that Sony's Project Morpheus will be made available to the public in a U.K. event. The latter is in reference to the 20th anniversary of the original PSOne debuting in the U.K.

EGX 2015 will be held from Sept. 24 to 27. The event will be held at The NEC in Birmingham.
