16-year-old daughter of "Fast And Furious" star Paul Walker, Meadow Walker, announced the launch of "Do Good" foundation.
Meadow has set up a foundation to commemorate her father's birthday. Paul would have turned 42 years old on Sept. 12. She announced the launch Paul Walker Foundation on her Twitter and Instagram account.
"Want to share a piece of my father w/ the world. http://bit.ly/mwpwfdn http://bit.ly/paulwalkerfdn @paulwalkerfdn #DoGood," Meadow wrote.
She gave the link to the foundation's website. The Do Good Foundation will aspire to provide grants and scholarships to researchers and students in the field of marine science, where late walker was once a student before he became an actor.
She posted a message alongside a sweet throwback photo of herself as a child, smiling and laughing while sitting with her father.
"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world," said Meadow on Instagram.
"I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood," the message added.
Walker family honored him on his birthday with a private party. Paul, who died in a tragic car crash last Nov. 2013, gained fame for his role as Brian O'Conner in the "Fast And Furious" franchise. His sudden death was mourned by millions of fans worldwide.
Late Walker's family and friends have put their best foot forward to carry on his humanitarian legacy. Meadow has marked his birthday with a poignant and benevolent tribute.
According to CNN his brother, Cody Walker, joined Reach Out Worldwide as a brand manager in 2014.
Reach Out Worldwide is honoring him on his birthday by selling "For Paul" shirts featuring an image of Walker in Haiti in 2010, where he founded Reach Out Worldwide after an earthquake.
According to Hello Magazine Paul's "Fast And Furious" co-star Vin Diesel recently paid another moving homage to late star in a touching speech as he and the rest of the cast collected the award for Teen Choice award for best action movie.
"We are a true, true, true family. You fans have been so incredible to us and have encouraged us and made us reach higher each time," said Diesel while receiving the award.
