Kate Middleton has charmed crowds with her new hairstyle at an appearance at the Anna Freud Centre in North London on Sept.17, Thursday.

This visit marked her first solo official royal engagement since her daughter Charlotte was born on May 2. The Anna Freud Centre named after one of the daughters of the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud and is devoted to children's mental health.

Anna Freud was the sixth child of Sigmund Freud and followed her father in the field of psychoanalysis. The charity also brings together families that are dealing with the related problems and provides training along with therapeutic support for both children and parents.

"The Duchess of Cambridge has a go at the SmartGym learning technology @AFCevents Family School," tweeted Kensington Palace.

Middleton, 33, visited the Anna Freud Centre to find out how the aid organization is running to help children with mental health issues.

During the visit, she wore a Ralph Lauren shirt-dress and was later seen wearing a pair of 3D glasses as she participated in a game used to check the children's attentiveness.

The 33-year-old Royal is scheduled to join Prince William and Prince Harry for the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup, ABC News reported.

Andrea, 33, who received help from Anna Freud Centre while living in an overcrowded homeless hospital with her husband and four-month-old son, has praised Middleton for her support.

She said: "It's wonderful that she has come here because that shows me that she's interested in families and children and the problems that people can have," said Andrea who is now a member of AFC's parents' panel.

The Duchess has played a vital role in raising awareness on mental health. She has also addressed its significance during Britain's first Children's Mental Health Week back in February.

"The stigma around mental health means that many children do not get the help that they so badly need. This needs to change," she said. "No one would feel embarrassed about seeking help for a child if they broke their arm," ABC7NY reported.

The Duchess of Cambridge is back to work with spectacular style.
