The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch device is considered as of the best Android tablets. It is an upgrade from last year's Galaxy Tab S and is now the company's newest flagship tablet.

Samsung already fixed some of the issues that consumers encountered with the previous Tab S. Below are the specifications of Galaxy Tab S2 and the corresponding price based on the Wi-Fi and LTE support.

Galaxy Tab S2 features an octa-core Exynos 5433 processer, which can be found as well in the Galaxy Note 4 and runs with Android 5.1.1. The device has a microSD slot that supports cards up to 128GB. It has Samsung's Touchwiz UI, which is fairly clean but still includes some Samsung-specific apps, like Milk Music.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 features a 9.7 Super AMOLED display, a more refined body than its predecessor, with 2048 x 1536 screen resolution and the display works out to about 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The screen is better suited for multitasking, and features bright, popping colors and fluid animations. Users can open up to six windows across the tablet's screen, as long as the app supports split-screen mode.

It measures 9.34 x 6.65 x 0.22 inches and weighs 13.7 ounces, thinner and lighter compared to Apple's iPad Air 2. Galaxy Tab S2 features a smooth, matte finish on the back and a subtle metal band around the body.

The rear camera has 8MP, takes clear shots in natural light, and 2.1MP front camera good for sharp selfies and video chats. It records QHD video at 30 frames per second. The Tab S2 9.7 has a 5,870 mAh battery that can last for 5 hours and 11 minutes, PC Mag reported.

At the bottom of the device, it has a micro USB port and dual speakers, and on the right are volume and power buttons. The speakers sound a little tinny when turned up, but using headphones makes it louder and clearer.

Additional features include QuickConnect that uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to make the screen to a Samsung Smart TV. It also features SideSync that let the users control the phone from the tablet, allowing users to take calls when the phone is being charged on another room.

The 9.7-inch Wi-Fi only tab costs $499 and the LTE-equipped models that are available via AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, and T-Mobile, can cost up to $650, according to The Verge.
