1. Liz and Red flee in style

In a video trailer, Liz and Red are dressed in police uniform as they break into a valet key box. Liz takes a pair of keys for a Porsche 911 Carrera, but Red says that it was not a very good decision contrary to Liz perspective.

2. Liz will have a different look

In the trailer for season 3, NBC shows Liz with an interesting disguise - blonde hair. Red seems to be intrigued by the change and so will the fans want to see what is all about the disguise.

3. A new character will be introduced

Edi Gathegi, who was featured in both "Proof" and "X-Men: First Class," is set to make his first appearance in season 3 episode 1 playing the recurring character Mr. Solomon portrayed as a man to handle dirty work for the Cabal.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Mr. Solomon is "a monster in gentleman's clothing" because of his unassuming and soft-spoken outward appearance and the horrific ability for violence hidden beneath the surface.

4. Ressler is in pursuit of Liz

Season 3 will see Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) in pursuit of Liz, and he will be upset she turns out to be an unlikely source of assistance. When things fail to go quite as scheduled for Liz during her run, Ressler ends up eventually saving her.

5. No time jump

The period between season 2 and the upcoming season will have no action gap. Spader revealed in a behind-the-scene featurette that the first episode will continue just half an hour after the events of season 2 finale.

"The Blacklist" season 3 will premiere on Sept. 24 on NBC.
