Fall Out Boy wants to collaborate with Taylor Swift for a new song. After performing together at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Pete Wentz shared that he wanted to see more of the "Wildest Dreams" singer in the future.

In an interview with Notion magazine, Wentz recounted that Swift performed "Light Em Up" with Fall Out Boy a few years ago. He said that although he wanted to do another song with her, he was not holding his breath given that she is "very in demand." He, however, added that Swift was "very sweet," saying that he could not wait to work with her again soon.

The band may have given up on a collaboration anytime soon but Radio.com pointed out that it is not that far from happening. The publication mentioned a post from Alt Press where a video of Swift singing "Sugar, We're Going Down" in a concert in Chicago back in 2011, via Jennifer Sanson, was shared.

In 2013, Patrick Stump also was Swift's surprise guest in New Jersey where they performed "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark."

Meanwhile, Wentz shared that fans will definitely see a new side of Fall Out Boy in their new album. He said that they deviated from themes and songs that they have already done in the past. He said that they wanted to give their fans a fresh track every single time.

"You want to remind people of the spirit of your music, not do something that was a direct replication of that," he said.
