Android Marshmallow will bring in USB Type-C support, fingerprint scanner, battery saver, improved app drawer, better app permissions and status bar, app links and custom Chrome tabs.

Android Marshmallow has a power-saving feature called Doze, according to IBNLive. Doze is designed to understand if there is any activity in the mobile phone using the motion detecting sensor and shut down particular processes.

The app drawer has a search bar to easily locate files, games and apps stored in the mobile phone and launch them. In addition, the scroll bar is back on the drawer. Custom Chrome tabs has more options for fonts, themes and color and will track site visits.

If Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 (2013) have not been updated to Android Marshmallow yet, users can follow these steps.
1.  First download the ADB tools and then unpack the zip file.
2.  After that, turn into fastboot mode and double click on the 'flash-all.bat' file.

It is important to note that the factory image of Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 is different from one another. Users need to make sure that the factory image and extracted ADB tools  are in the same folder, Tech Times reported.

To start installation, the handset should be in fastboot mode by pressing long the volume down button as well as the power button at the same time. After that, the handset will automatically reboot.
