Recent "The Blacklist" season 3 spoilers revealed that the upcoming season of the NBC series will introduce a new character named Mr. Solomon, which will be played by Jennifer Lawrence's "X-Men: First Class" co-star Edi Gathegi.

Fans can expect the big fallout within The Cabal in "The Blacklist" season, which was caused by Red releasing the Fulcrum information. Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly that The Cabal is more desperate so it is "more dangerous and frankly bringing in more lethal people to handle the situation."

According to Bokenkamp, Mr. Solomon is a ruthless fixer for The Cabal and he is "really good at making things personal." He added that fans will realize that Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) is not this lone wolf and that he has family outside the surrogate father that is Red.

Compared to the first and second seasons, "The Blacklist" season 3 will have a different vibe with several new additions to the blacklist. Bokenkamp's fellow "The Blacklist" executive producer John Eisendrath told TV Line that several unanswered questions of the past will be dealt with in the upcoming season.

While "The Blacklist" season 3 will still feature quirky blacklisters in each episode, Eisendrath said that the hunt for Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) is a slightly more serialized story than it was in the past.

Mr. Vargas, which is played by "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" alum Paul Reubens, will also be back for at least three episodes in "The Blacklist" season 3, which is set to premiere on NBC on Oct. 1.
