In the wake of their breakup, netizens were shock and devastated and took it their sentiments to Twitter. Supporters flooded the social media platform with disappointing remarks over the split of one of Hollywood's favorite couples.

After the late night show host Jimmy Kimmel commented on their former happy relationship, both the famous frog and his former lover revealed the reasons why the two of them grew apart.

According to the famous "Muppet" amphibian, his great relationship with his co-star lasted for many years but they had different desires as the years go by.

Annoyed, the well-known "Muppet" pig added that her ex's failure to do the usual laundry list contributed to their decision to breakup. The fashionable star commented that these tasks include putting the washing machine lid down, closing the refrigerator door and doing the dishes while taking a bath in the sink.

When the famous host asked the well-known frog about his new girlfriend Denise, tension between the former lovers arise even more. The "Muppet" star proudly replied that her partner is one of ABC channel's marketing heads and she is old enough but very young-looking which throws an implied comment to his ex-girlfriend's looks and age.

Meanwhile, the famous pig star only commented that she is yet to find love again after her tastes in men became more picky since her split with Kermit.

To aid her quest for love, the rest of the talk show's team created a profile for the well-known pig in the famous social media dating platform Tinder.

The new "The Muppets" season is now airing at ABC. Show schedules can be found in the channel's official website.
