"The Blacklist" executive producer Jon Bokenkamp has teased how the other characters of NBC's crime drama TV series will fit in the upcoming new season where lead character Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) joins Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) on FBI's most wanted list. Bokenkamp talked about what Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) will be up to while Liz and Reddington are on the run in "The Blacklist" Season 3.

Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room report claims there will be a role switch between Tom and Liz in the upcoming new season because Tom has been cleared and FBI Agent Liz Keen has become a fugitive. In the finale episode of "The Blacklist" Season 2, Liz fatally shot Attorney General Tom Connolly (Reed Birney) after finding out that he works for the mysterious organization called "The Cabal."

Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp teased that Tom and Liz have switch in who they are and how they approach their current situation. Bokenkamp shared Liz currently feels the desperation of becoming a criminal and trying to operate in the shadows with Reddington.

As for Tom, Bokenkamp teased the character does not know yet about Liz killing the Attorney General of the United States. Bokenkamp further added that Tom will not want to sit back once he finds out about Liz's situation.

Bokenkamp also teased on another interesting storyline in "The Blacklist" Season 3 which is the effect of the Fulcrum information release to The Cabal. Bokenkamp revealed to EW that The Cabal will be more desperate and dangerous because the organization will in more lethal people to deal with the situation that Reddington caused.

Edi Gathegi will be introduced in the upcoming new season as the character Mr. Solomon. Bokenkamp described the new character as a ruthless fixer for The Cabal.

Bokenkamp added that Mr. Solomon is someone who is really good at making things personal and it will be relevant when it comes to Reddington's right-hand man Dembe. Bokenkamp teased that the viewers are going to realize in "The Blacklist" Season 3 that Dembe is not this lone wolf because he has a family outside the substitute father that is Reddington.

"The Blacklist" Season 3 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 1, at 9/8c on NBC.
