Fans of the CW's hit TV show "iZombie" should get ready to learn more about Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) in the upcoming season 2. So far, there is little known about the Officer Babineaux except the PD detective trusting Olivia "Liv" Moore (Rose McIver) about what she does to solve crimes.
According to TV Line, "iZombie" season 2 will provide an insight on Babineaux's personal life. Executive producer Rob Thomas told the publication, "There's a joke in season 2 where Liv [Rose McIver] says, 'I didn't even know you had a home life. I just think you went into your Detective Clive box at the end of the day.' But this year, we're going to see a little bit of Clive's home life."
Thomas added that Babineaux will be concentrating on the incidences that happened at Meat Cute in the upcoming season. While the police department has decided that the events took place in one way, Babineaux seems to disagree with his colleagues. It will turn out that Babineaux is right as opposed to the official story.
The probing into the events will result into the brilliant detective finding out the real story about the zombies. Initially, Thomas indicated that the police officer will eventually be introduced into a world of the undead in the second half of season 2.
Meanwhile, further details from The Hollywood Reporter indicate that fans of the series will have a chance to meet a person who has caught Babineaux's eye for romance.
During CW's panel meeting at the recently-held event in San Diego Comic-Con, Goodwin pointed out that he is eager to know who will date his character Babineaux in the second season. The executive producer, who was laso present in the reported fan-test, told the 32-year-old actor that "you're in luck," but he did not reveal further details on the character.
"iZombie" season 2 debuts on Oct. 6, Tuesday on CW at 8. p.m.
