"Scream Queens" season 1 premiered this week, but fans were surprised to see Ariana Grande's Chanel #2 killed off in the pilot.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the "One Last Time" singer will appear as a recurring guest star on the show.

"She comes back I believe in episode 6 and maybe more. She's recurring definitely. Everyone thinks she's gone but she's not gone," he said.

As of late, it is still unclear how Grande will return to the FOX series, because she already died. However, Murphy said that fans will see the singer as a human being, and not as a ghost.

"I wouldn't say ghost. Nothing you think is happening is happening on the show. You think some people are dead - they're not dead," he said.

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas also dished on Nick Jonas' character's fate on "Scream Queens" season 1.

"I can tell you that he is a part of the team of people involved in this master revenge plan. His history with it goes very, very deep. One of my favorite things is that he's spying and traveling around the campus dressed incognito as Joaquin Phoenix," he explained.

In other news, there are rumors that at least one character will be killed off per episode of "Scream Queens."

According to Zap2It, the more characters are killed, the more likely will fans find out who is the killer behind the red devil's costume.

"Scream Queens" season 1 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
