Erstwhile league leader Borussia Dortmund (5-0-1, 16 points) will try to get back to its winning ways as it clashes with newly-promoted squad Darmstadt 98 (2-1-3, 9 points) at the Signal Iduna Park on Sunday, September 27.

The Black and Yellows' five-game winning run was snapped on Wednesday as lowly club Hoffenheim forced a 1-1 draw on Die Borussen at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Die Kraichgauer midfielder Sebastian Rudy right-footed a goal three minutes before halftime to put a scare on BVB, but Borussia winger Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang managed to equalize it at the 55th minute, as reported by BBC Sport.

Thomas Tuchel's side was not able to score again to settle for the tie and a drop to second place in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Die Lilien pulled out a 2-1 victory over Werder Bremen in their Tuesday game at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor.

Striker Sandro Wagner had a brace against his former team to propel Darmstadt to the win. Bremen forward Aron Jóhannsson drew first blood at the 19th-minute until Wagner ended his 24-match goalless game with a penalty kick at the 31st, via ESPN.

Tuchel is keen on bouncing back from the disappointing draw to try and keep pace with defending champions Bayern Munich and this game against the Lillies is the right start for Dortmund.

The predicted result is a 3-0 rout for Borussia Dortmund. Aubameyang will continue to score for BVB as he did in the team's first six games of the season. He will get much-needed help from Marco Reus, though, en route to a blowout win.
