Synopsis of "Hawaii Season 6, Episode 1 - "Mai ho'oni i ka wai lana malie (Do Not Disturb the Water That Is Tranquil)"
"Season 6 begins with Five-0 investigating a centuries-old Oahu palace raid involving pirates, buried treasure and a killer who is using a stolen painting as a map. Meanwhile, Kono and Adam are threatened and tortured by Gabriel; and Danny shows concern for Steve regarding Catherine's return to the island," via TV.com.
Executive producer Peter Lenkov of "Hawaii Five-0" talked to Entertainment Weekly and shared that every year they have a theme for the season. This year they have planned to revolve around love. The new season will take forward Kono's wedding arc and merge it with the honeymoon period.
"We're going to be playing people's personal lives first and foremost, in terms of character arcs. We're doing a Valentine's Day episode which is going to really hammer home that theme," Lenkov said. However, Lenkov added that the new season would continue to explore "inventive stories" and not just focus on the theme. So we can expect more action in the new season.
