"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in two years, but the producers of the movie have just confirmed that they have not yet cast actors and actress for the new roles.

In an interview with E! News, producer Dana Brunetti said, "We're nowhere near casting. We haven't gotten into anything like that."

Meanwhile, Brunetti also weighed in on rumors that Henry Cavill will be playing the role of Jack Hyde.

"It's so insane. Somebody posts something on some obscure blog and then it gets picked up by something a little less obscure and it keeps going. Fans are starting the news by saying things like 'the Cavill casting,'" he said.

In July, Cavill hinted on the possibility of playing the role of Christian Grey's nemesis on "Fifty Shades Darker."

However, he immediately took back what he said, and revealed that he only did so because no one believed him when he said he will not be part of the sequel.

In other news, there were also rumors that Charlize Theron will be playing the role of Mrs. Robinson.

However, when the actress was asked whether or not there is truth to the rumors, she said that she does not know anything about being cast for the role.

Supermodel cum actress Cara Delevingne was also rumored to play the role of Leila Williams. However, as of late, Brunetti made it clear that they have not selected anyone new to star in the movie.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
