ABC's new thriller series, "Quantico," premiered on Sept. 27, Sunday, which is about a group of young FBI recruits who are undergoing training in Quantico, one of whom will emerge as a mastermind of a bomb blast in New York.

"Quantico" episode 1, which was titled "Run," began with a scene in which Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) is introduced to a mystery woman on a plane after which he has sex with her in a rented car. The mystery woman refuses to reveal her identity, but leaves him perplexed as she has deduced a lot about him.

Six hours later, Ryan meets the same woman again in the FBI training center who introduces herself as Alex (Priyanka Chopra). The Quantico class is given their uniforms and badges along with the warning that it is not that easy to survive in FBI and from now on it will be a matter of "life and death."

The Quantico class is settling into their rooms when Alex announces everyone that she had sex with Ryan six hours ago. On the first day of their class, the recruits are given each other's files and are assigned to find a secret from their colleague's past which is not in the file. Ryan and Alex end up with each other's files.

The episode takes a leap of nine months and Alex is standing in the middle of a bomb blast. It turns out that one of her batch mate is suspected to be the terrorist.

The scene is back to Quantico class day two when recruits are in shooting range. In between their training sessions, each of them is on phone as the clock is ticking and they have to find each other's secret. Alex's roommate Shelby (Johanna Braddy) is devastated as she is not able to find anything wrong about Caleb (Graham Rogers) who appears to be absolutely perfect.

Caleb has to find dirt about Eric (Brian J. Smith) who is in turn freaking out as there is apparently a secret he does not want to be unveiled.

Quantico class is headed for the polygraphic test where each recruit will tell what he has found about his/her partner. Ryan's roommate Simon (Tate Ellington), who has picked Shelby as case study, starts asking her about her family when she revealed that her parents were on the 9/11 flight and she still carried a piece of the plane.

Ryan reveals that Alex has some emotional issues and did not cried even when his father died when the latter said that her father was a drunk and her mother shot him in self-defense. Next goes Caleb and Eric for their revelation when Eric pulls out a gun and tell Caleb to leave him alone.

Eric starts crying and shot himself on the head. It turns out his secret was that he had got a 14-year-old pregnant who died while getting abortion. Caleb reveals that he was only teasing him and he failed to find out anything.

Nobidy is able to find any secret about Nimah (Yasmin Al Masri). But it turn out that she has a twin sister, hidden in her dorm room, with whom she is constantly swapping places.

The episode is again back to the bomb blast scene after which Alex is taken under arrest after Ryan is found apparently dead in her apartment. She is thrown into a FBI van which is driven by Director Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) who gives her the keys to her handcuff and tells her to escape.
