The character will have the ability to see through other timelines. However, all of these things will be new to him that he will have difficulty coming to terms with everything.

According to TV Guide, the premiere episode of "The Flash" season 2 will feature Cisco in a parallel world.

Meanwhile, The CW recently dropped the official synopsis for season 2 episode2 entitled "The Man Who Saves Central City."

As the title suggests, Barry will once again don his new The Flash costume, and will help save Central City from the Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland).

Initially, Barry would not be open to the idea of returning to his old life as The Flash, but Iris West (Candice Patton) will convince him, and will tell him that everyone will help him out.

"Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie's death. Concerned about putting his things in dancer, Barry pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own," the synopsis partially read.

"The Flash" season 2 will also feature Iris bringing the entire The Flash team closer together in the upcoming episodes.

"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 6.
