"The Amazing Spider-Man" alum Andrew Garfield recently opened up about his new film "99 Homes." He also dished on what it was like working with Martin Scorsese.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Garfield revealed that the filming for Scorsese's "Silence" took place in Taiwan, not Japan.
"We shot in Taiwan, doubling as Japan. It's so hard to sum up. It's epic and small, simultaneously. It's a very internal journey through this external wilderness. But it's mostly internal, mostly an inside conversation with God, a conversation with God," he said.
Talking about what it was like working with Scorsese, Garfield revealed that he was afraid of him at first.
"Well, I'm always afraid. I'm afraid right now. It was such a big build up, we were delayed again and again and again. I was out in Taiwan three or four weeks, just twiddling my thumbs, getting ready to go and being delayed and waiting to know if we were going to shoot," he said.
Meanwhile, Garfield recently appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to read some of the meanest tweets he has ever received online.
"Is Andrew Garfield trying to do his utter best to look like a pedophile that lives in an RV," he read on the show.
Garfield could not contain his laughter at the tweet, but he was able to say "Yes" afterwards.
The actor previously opened up about exiting the Marvel franchise, and said that he is happy Tom Holland was tapped to play the role of Peter Parker or Spider-Man.
