Meadow Walker, 16, is suing sports car maker Porsche over the wrongful death of her late father, the "Furious 7" star Paul Walker. The lawsuit, which does not put a figure on damages, claims that Paul survived the impact of the car crash but he was burned alive.

Lawyers for Meadow claim that Paul's seat belt snapped his torso back "with thousands of pounds of force" when the Porsche Carrera GT crashed and broke apart, which broke the "Furious 7" star's ribs and pelvis and trapping him in the passenger seat, according to the wrongful death lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

The lawyers accused Porsche of being aware that the Porsche Carrera GT had "a history of instability and control issues" and if Paul's sports car had a proper stabilization system, it would never have careened if it.

In addition, the lawsuit claims that Paul was still alive when the fire broke out. He was said to be helplessly trapped in the Porsche Carrera GT although the fire did not erupt for 1 minute and 20 seconds after impact.

While the Porsche Carrera GT burned, the "Furious 7" star breathed soot into his trachea, the lawsuit alleged. The lawsuit also claims that the driver, Roger Rodas, was only going between 63 and 71 MPH when the sports car careened out of control although police reported that he went 80 to 93 MPH and cited speeding as the cause of the crash.

Porsche is yet to comment on Meadow's lawsuit. Meanwhile, the sports car maker's production chief Oliver Blume, who is also a former manager at Volkswagen's luxury division Audi, may be named as its new CEO soon, sources recently told Reuters.
