With just two weeks remaining for CW's hit series "The Originals" comes back for season 3, the latest sneak peek indicates that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will face a lot of trouble because his loved ones are upset with him and they might wage war.
The video opens when the hybrid talks to the family portrait saying, "Always and forever indeed." This is followed by Camille telling him, "You're scared," as the words that read, "A family on the brink of bad blood" followed the assortment.
Elijah (Daniel Gillies) appears with red lasers pointed at him as he assumes, "We can't be killed." Freya wrapped up the clip portentously saying, "If the prophecy is fulfilled, you will all fall."
An official synopsis for "The Originals" season 3 premiere entitled "For the Next Millennium" reveals that there is impending war that will spark between the Mikaelsons and their sire lines. Episode 1 will also have a flashback of the Original siblings and unveil their difficulties in the present day, in line with what occurred to Dahlia.
According to Dread Central, the synopsis read: "Months following their violent and deadly showdown with the powerful witch Dahlia, a rift continues to divide brothers Klaus and Elijah, while Freya (Riley Voekel) searches for a way to heal their fractured bond and return their family to the way they once were."
On the other hand, regarding the shippers of Haylijah, director Julie Plec revealed to Entertainment Weekly that there is a likelihood of the two getting back together at some point. Plec said that it is a matter of finding the right time and overcoming obstacles.
According to the showrunner, there is always hope for Haylijah in the manner that developers of the series established the relationship that will clearly materialize. She says, "I wouldn't say they'll never get together, because I think they have and at some point, they will again."
"The Originals" premieres on Oct. 8, Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on CW.
