"Halo 5: Guardians" trailer a month ahead of the game's official release date, but fans did not like the whole idea of Master Chief being killed.

"Halo 5: Guardians" trailer features a woman saying, "On October 27th, 2560, Spartan 117, the man more commonly known as the Master Chief, died in the line of duty." The dramatic trailer that was brought about by a recent event that led to the demise of the Chief.

The end part showed the visor of Master Chief fading to black under a pile of rubble from a collapsed building. Obviously, it is a ploy to make the fans believe that Master Chief is gone.

Meanwhile, Microsoft released another trailer to give the fans an explanation on how the new REQ system will work on the upcoming "Halo 5: Guardians." The multiplayer mode of the game is what the fans really want, iDigital Times reported. 

Haloway Point blog also explains the REQ system that goes a little deeper in terms of explanation. The new REQ system in "Halo 5: Guardians" is basically a way for the multiplayers of the game to get upgrades to their respective characters.  These upgrades include cosmetic changes, new ways to gain access to better guns and even vehicle accessibility. "Halo 5: Guardians" REQ packs can either be purchased by in-game cash, or by real money.

"Halo 5: Guardians" is slated to be released on Oct. 27 and is exclusive to Xbox One. The game was developed by 343 Industries and is published by Microsoft.
