One of Jessica Jones' villains, Zebediah Kilgrave/Purple Man (David Tennant), was spotted on the set of the "Luke Cage" TV series hinting that Kilgrave will likely be one of the main antagonist in the series because both characters have a long and bitter history together in the Marvel comics, Screen Crush reported.

Kilgrave is the main antagonist in "Marvel Jessica Jones" as the villain was responsible for Jessica's early retirment as superhero. Executive Producer Jeff Loeb compare Kilgrave to that of Wilson Fisk/ The Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) as he stated that auidiences will feell like they rooting for the bad guy instead of the hero and he will be as ruthless and cunning as Fisk was in "Daredevil" season 1.

Aside from Kilgrave's possible appearance, the full cast list for the "Luke Cage" TV series have been revealed.

The cast members include "A Taste of Romance" actress Simone Missick as Misty Knight, who in the show is police detective. "Blue Blood" actor Frank Whaley will lay Misty's partner Frank Whaley and is described as a hard-nose detective, SuperHeroHype reported.

"The Hunger Games - Mockingjay" star Mahershala Ali will take on the role Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stoke, one of Luke's primary enemies. Theo Ross will take on Shades, a relentless, smooth and manipulative criminal who is tied to Luke Cage's past. Academy Award nominee Alfre Woodard is cast as Mariah Dillard, a local polician who strives for change in Harlem and is the cousin of Cottonmouth and Rosariso Dawson will reprise her a Claire Temple in the series.

Luke Cage will appear first in "Marvel's Jessica Jones" on November 20 and his own series will launch sometime in 2016 alongside "Daredevil" season 2.
