It's been a decade since Will Smith recorded a song. Now he's back with a collaboration with Columbian dance group Bomba Estéreo's for the song "Fiesta."

According to Rolling Stone, Smith first heard of the group when he went to Columbia. The actor was attracted to their "electro tropical" vibe and personally approached them for the remix.

Simón Mejia, Bomba Estéreo's founder, said that he couldn't believe it when he found out that the actor wanted to work with them on the song. He even said that working with Smith is just magic.

He added that it was beyond what they actually dreamed of. Mejia said that he also had a great time shooting the music video and thanked Smith for rapping in Spanish, too!

Last month, the actor teased about the collaboration in his Facebook page when he posted a selfie with the group while congratulating them for their Latin Grammy nomination.

"Fiesta" is nominated for Record of the Year at the Latin Grammy awards. The song has an up-tempo beat. It's a dance track with electronica and loops that fuse seamlessly with traditional Columbian beats.

The music video is said to be released soon in Los Angeles.

Smith's last album was "Lost and Found" back in 2005 although he also hinted earlier this year that he'll be coming back to the music scene as hit the studio with Kanye West.

The actor is a strong contender for an Oscar for his role in "Concussion." He will also star as Deadshot in DC Comics' anti-hero movie "Suicide Squad."
