Commenting on his noticeable weight loss, the "Sangria" singer dismissed rumors of exercise, saying "I would like to sit here and tell you that I've been exercising, but I have not." Shelton said the most exercise he gets is on days when he mows his lawn.

Weeks before Shelton and Lambert announced their separation, he tweeted, "I'm mowing with a push mower. I'm mowing a BIG yard with a push mower. I make a lot of money and I'm mowing a BIG yard with a push mower!!!"

"I could have a riding lawn mower or even better yet, just hire somebody to come mow my lawn," Shelton told CMT adding, "But it's like, you know, we had all this rain in Oklahoma, the first part of the year, like an unbelievable amount and one day, in the middle of crisis and chaos with my personal life, I walked out and I was just thinking, what the hell is going on with my yard!"

Meanwhile, Shelton's rep last month told E! News, the reasons behind the country singer's healthy appearance has been attributed to Shelton engaging in two things he "hates" the most, which include "diet and exercise."

Shelton and Lambert, dubbed as the sweethearts of country music, shocked fans when they announced their separation on July 20 following four years of marriage. At the time, it was reported that the couple had already come to agreement that Lambert would retain the couple's Nashville property, while Shelton would keep his Oklahoma ranch.

A source told Us Weekly that both Lambert and Shelton had been devastated and "heartbroken" over the failure of their marriage. The source added that the two remained friends and is on cordial terms.
