"The Voice" coach Blake Shelton recently revealed some details regarding his divorce with fellow country singer Miranda Lambert and explained that he is dealing with the situation positively.
Back in July, it could be remembered that both parties announced their plans for divorce. The couple had been married for almost five years when they announced the end of their marriage.
Although breakup rumors plagued the former lovers during the course of their divorce, Shelton asserted that their case was smooth-sailing and was quickly done by the time both of them knows it. The country singer revealed in the "The Bobby Bones Show" that their divorce was already done before everyone even got a word of it.
After the said breakup, "The Voice" coach knew that paparazzi would definitely follow either him or his ex-wife to write updates on their post-breakup lives. To give the paparazzi something to talk about, Shelton reportedly placed vodka in a stroller prop from the "The Voice" studio.
According to some onlookers, the songwriter passed the incident off as a joke together with accomplices from the show's production.
Ever since the said divorce, there are rumors that had been circulating regarding the real reason of the ex-couple's breakup. Some sources pointed out to Shelton's career goals and social life which clashed with the huge commitment that Lambert wanted over having a baby.
In addition, the male singer's change in eating habits earned him a slimmer figure. Shelton said on "America's Morning Show" that his diet is called "the divorce diet" after he went from eating a lot of stuff to spending his time eating healthy and doing exercises.
As for Lambert, she is reportedly expecting a baby with Shelton. Unfortunately, the famous singer claimed that she only found out about her pregnancy after she and the "The Voice" coach had already finalized their divorce.
