The upcoming episode of "Switched at Birth" season 4 will reveal how Mingo will step up his game and help Daphne's (Katie Leclerc) family in their financial problems.
Last Monday night, Mingo and his parents went to Daphne's home to have dinner with her parents. However, to their surprise, John Kennish found out that Mingo's dad was the one responsible for jeopardizing his finances.
Instead of having an enjoyable dinner, both families ended up competing in a game of basketball. It was later on revealed by Mingo's mom that most of her husband's decision was approved by John first.
Now, on Monday night's episode, Mingo will help Daphne gather funds for a fundraising event. Although the money would not go directly to the Kennishes, Mingo could prove himself worthy of Daphne and her entire family.
According to Cartermatt, Mingo will pass a hat around to collect funds for the event, and the result of this will determine whether or not his relationship with Daphne could progress.
Meanwhile, Spoilers Guide released a series of sneak peeks for the upcoming episode, entitled, "To The Victor Belong The Spoils."
The first teaser featured Mingo and Daphne talking about their fundraiser at Scratch.
A second teaser featured Regina talking to Eric, possibly about their initial plans to move in together.
Additionally, a third teaser featured the actual fundraiser which was attended by Daphne's adoptive mom Regina and Eric.
"Switched at Birth" season 4 airs new episodes every Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
