Despite wanting to stay on a down low this school year, Bay will be placed under the spotlight because of the anti-harassment policy that was recently established in the school. The policy was coined after Bay's family complained about Tank possibly taking advantage of their daughter.

Meanwhile, Daphne will continue to get low grades in chemistry and this could affect her scholarship.

Additionally, for the first time in four seasons, John will experience some financial problems. While all these are happening, Katherine (Lea Thompson) will continue to pursue her career in music with her son Toby, according to Just Jared.

In other news, Daphne's excitement over her new relationship with Mingo will be judged by her friends who do not necessarily like him for her. With this, Daphne will get into a heated argument with them.

"Switched at Birth" season 4 will reportedly focus on a pregnancy storyline that would impact the characters on the show. The teaser for the premiere episode hinted that Toby might have gotten his girlfriend pregnant. However, there are also speculations that either Bay or Daphne could be pregnant this season.

"Switched at Birth" season 4 will premiere on ABC Family on Aug. 24.
