Before "Bones" Season 11 premiered, actor David Boreanaz, who portrays the role of Seelay Booth, sat down with E!Online and talked about the future of the show. In the interview, the actor suggested that it is a good time to end the show.
"It's a great way to wrap the whole series up and I'm excited about that," David Boreanaz said. "I mean, one season is great! I don't really count it as seasons but what we've given to the show and what we can do, for me it's great to see the show come to an end and do it the way we want to do it," he added.
Meanwhile, speculations about David Boreanaz exiting the show after Season 11 are also running rampant. But this is not the first time such rumours have surfaced. As noted by the abovementioned entertainment publication, the rumours continue to exist ever since David Boreanaz' 2012 tweet caught attention of fans and media. The tweet read: "Done. That's a series wrap for me folks ! #Bones."
Fans must note that these are mere rumours. Associated persons are yet to make any official announcement.
