A company went to crowdfunding site Indiegogo to seek investors for eJaculator, a virtual reality-based sex toys created mainly for single men or males with no sex partners. The device's name is also the company's name.
It is a high-tech fleshlight where a man would insert his genital as if he is having sex with his organ inside a woman's body. The device comes with a virtual reality mask that allows the user to watch 3D porn, reports TechCrunch.
eJaculator is part of a growing number of smart sex toys geared for shy people with money to burn. The tech website describes the device - priced at $125 for early-bird buyers - as giving the owner "the pleasure and the privilege of robotic copulation."
For the device to work, the user must first download and app and then connect the eJaculator to the app. Then put on the headset, navigate using the wireless remote, choose the desired fantasy and finally prepare for the climax.
Investors could opt to remain anonymous. Those who invest $150 would get the eJaculator VR set which would be shipped for free. For the business-minded, investing $1,100 would include a distributor starter pack made up of 10 eJaculator VR sets, while an investment of $2,500 would include 25 sets and a lifetime 10 percent discount on all wholesale prices of eJaculator products.
On top of that, all investors get a lifetime 20 percent discount off all retail prices. The sex toy officially launches in 2016. It would be manufactured in China.
The manufacturer says the eJaculator is just the first of its line of products for males and females that it aims to shake up both the Virtual Reality and Adult Industry. It said, "Pleasure toys will never be the same again when we set course and change the way people view and experience their sexual wellness."
