A marquee matchup between the San Francisco 49ers (1-3) and New York Giants (2-2) is scheduled on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium as one of the NFL 2015 season's Week 5 games.

The Niners are struggling at the moment as they lost to the Green Bay Packers, 17-3, last week at their home field of Levi's Stadium, as per Yahoo Sports.

It was the team's third straight defeat after a resounding 20-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings during their Monday season opener.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick continued its poor play this season, going 13-of-25 for 160 yards, no touchdowns, one interception, and six sacks for a low QBR of 20.1.

Meanwhile, the Giants dumped the inconsistent Buffalo Bills, 24-10, during their Week 4 matchup at the Ralph Wilson Stadium, via SB Nation.

Eli Manning led the team to a 16-3 start and held on to finish with a win. Manning went 20-of-35 for 212 yards, three touchdown passes, one interception, and one sack for a 34.6 QBR and 91.6 rating.

San Francisco is one of the weakest teams in defending the passing game, surrendering an average of 284.3 yards per game, so look for Manning to take advantage of it.

Prediction: Giants win, 28-10.
