In an interview with E!Online, David Boreanaz hinted that his part might be coming to an end on the show. Apparently, he thinks Season 11 could be the perfect end to "Bones." "It's a great way to wrap the whole series up and I'm excited about that," the actor told the abovementioned Entertainment publication.

"For me, personally, I think it's time. I think that 11 seasons is great. I mean, one season is great! I don't really count it as seasons but what we've given to the show and what we can do, for me it's great to see the show come to an end and do it the way we want to do it," the actor added.

Meanwhile, several other media outlets such as International Business Times and Hollywood Life are speculating that David Boreanaz might be hinting at his exit from "Bones" after Season 11. However, this is not the first time speculations about actor's exit from the show have surfaced.

Back in 2012, David Boreanaz posted a cryptic Twitter message that got the rumour mill buzzing. "Done. That's a series wrap for me folks ! #Bones," the actor wrote on the social media website.

"Bones" Season 11 premiered Oct. 1 earning positive reviews and high ratings. The show is set to feature an explosive Episode 2 titled "The Brother in the Basement" delving deeper into Booth's sudden disappearance. The synopsis for the forthcoming instalment of the series teases major developments. The team gets one step closer to discovering the truth about Booth's disappearance and also finds out that Agent Miller has not been truthful to the FBI and Jeffersonian.
A promo for "Bones" Season 11 Episode 2 has been released giving a glimpse of Booth's location. The video, as published by TV Line, shows Booth severely wounded and profusely bleeding. One of his captors says, "Seelay, go into the light."

But it seems today is not the day Booth is going to die. He grabs silver nitrate to cauterise his wound.

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, David Boreanaz teased what happens in Episode 2 of "Bones" Season 11. "The second half is much more intense in terms of trying to find out why he's in that predicament" the actor said. He even teases a revelation of a significant connection. "There is a great end to that episode that reflects the connection between him and Bones," the actor revealed.
